I think it's pretty common as a NN for Alessandro in Italy actually. Maybe it's an accent issue - I've always heard it pronounced in the same way as the beginning of Alessandro, which for me is not pronounced the same as Ollie, but might be in the OP's accent?

I think "ollie" is like an American pronunciation... obviously not the same vowels :P

I like Miles, Rusty (as a nickname, but I've always liked it), Cecelia (spelled the way my middle name is, yay!), Gemma, and Loren.

Affitin is...interesting.

Are you sure Mirielle wasn't spelled Mireille? Because when it's spelled 'ie' I want to pronounce it like MEER-ee-elle, while Mireille is a French name. But either way, I'm not a fan.

I do like Miles, Lucia, Gemma, Luna & Piper a lot, though.

Wow... these are some unusual names. My second grade student's names are much more typical multiple Kellys and Nicks.

I like: Mile, Kylan, Jon for boys and Luna and Marybeth for girls. Though I'd prefer Mary Beth better.
