WDYT of these two names?

Jude and Jasper

How popular are they really in the US and would they work as a sibset? I know most people frown on the same initials but I don't mind, besides... they don't really sound that much alike to me?

I love both names. I see them both rising in popularity, Jude more than Jasper, but I don't think either will turn into a major trend. I think they would make a fine sibset.

Isn't Jasper a character in Twilight or something? I've seen an incremental rise in that name since those books came out especially around people who I know have read those books.

I never used to like Jasper because it was one of the bad guys in 101 Dalmations. :P Lately, I have started to like it better.

Jude is a great name.

I'm not usually a fan of matching initials, but sometimes it doesn't really bother me. This would be one of those times. It's not overly matchy. The names have differing amounts of syllables and no repeating consonant or vowel sounds. I think they sound good together. :)

i think theyre a great sibset.

jude is my mans middle name, so i hope to use it in some form at some point.

jasper is a bit of a guilty pleasure, because i think jazz is the coolest nickname ever.

they sound great together, imo.

I love them both, and usually the same inital bugs me, but for some reason Jude and Jasper work great. Lovely. I think Jude is getting really popular and Jasper is quite trendy, but I doubt they'd ever reach the "---aiden" stage. They just fit nicely together. Great choice. :)

I love Jude, it's one of my favourites. I hate Jasper, it makes me think of a cat or something, and Twilight. And I don't even read Twilight, but the growing popularity of that and Cullen don't seem like a coincidence to me.
