also? francesca is our number two girls name and i have thought that cessa or cesca would be a cute nickname (with the ch sound) but keshka makes no sense.

Ah, then just for reference, "cesso" in italian is a rude term for toilet and "cessa" is used in teen ager jargon to call a girl "ugly"!
Cesca on the other hand is lovely :) It is the second most common nickname for Francesca in Italy, the first one being "Francy" (FRAHN-cee)
