Tiffany sounds a bit dated and I don't find Taffy a very pleasant nickname. I don't understand naming a child Indiana if you're just going to call her by another place name instead. I feel like you may as well just name her India. Although, Indiana also has the possibility of Diana has a nn if she were to want another option as she got older. Brooke is fine. Savannah Hanson runs together a lot. S--AnnahHanS--
I think it's refreshing to see Mackenzie on a boy. I quite like it. I tend to not like the name so much because it's gotten so trendy, but I do like names that were traditionally masculine but have become widely considered feminine on boys. Also, Mac means "son of" so I don't think Mc/Mac names make sense on girls. Roma has bad associations for me and looks feminine because of the 'a' ending. Jayden is way too trendy for me.
I like Brooke Hanson best. I also like Indiana and India, but Indiana Hanson somehow sounds too 'Indiana Jones' to me.
I also like Roma, but apparently I'm in the minority when it comes to that one. How about Romy or Romee (Ro-MAY)? Both are not unusual here (The Netherlands) and I think they sound nice, too.

Date: 2008-11-14 06:08 pm (UTC)I'd use Indy as a nickname for Indiana.
I like Roma (and Romy as someone already suggested). I hate Jayden - I'm sorry.
