we did it!

after posts and posts about boy names, with the disclaimer that we didn't know what we were having, but had a girl name picked out, we.... never did come up with a boy name. but it doesn't matter, because last friday (nov 7) I pushed out an 11 lb 6 oz baby GIRL! so... Germaine, Linus, & Dietrich welcomed their little sister, Ingrid Louise. :)

Aw, congratulations! I've always loved Ingrid but wouldn't use it as it's my cousin's name. That side of the family's taste echoes mine (I also have first cousins named — thus can't use but love — Dagmar and Miriam).
