A Few Names...
Nov. 9th, 2008 10:21 pm My SO and I have been talking recently and we are fairly decided on 2 names for any future sons we might have and 1 for any future daughter we might have (no kids right now, but we want them!). Our current names we want to use are Felix, James, and Claire (not combined, for three different kids). That said, we've been talking about other names, and I wanted to know what you all thought of them.
For boys:
Scott (my SO really likes this, I think it's growing on me)
Curtis (we'd consider it as an honorary name to someone important to us, but we're unsure about the sound)
For girls:
Eve (maybe better as a middle?)
Any thoughts, middle name suggestions, orders to scrap all of them? =)

Date: 2008-11-10 12:59 pm (UTC)Scott and Curtis don't go as well with your other names being so classic. I think they're best relegated to middle name placement if they were to be used in combination with the others.
I'm not really a huge fan of Eve, but it's nice enough. I would agree on the middle name idea for it, or suggest using it as a nickname for something longer.

Date: 2008-11-10 03:04 pm (UTC)I find Claire to be rather bland and boring, it's very very popular here in the UK. I think it's a US riser too.
Eve is too short, but I adore Eva/Evie.

Other ideas:
Caroline
Lydia
Audrey
Camille
Oliver
Simon
Joel
Eliot
