I mostly think that with the bazillion names out there that start with 'j' they could have found a few that don't sound so similar.

I don't understand why they decided to name them all with 'J'. How confusing must that be? When you've got like eighteen kids, I think you need to branch out into another letter...

After they named Josh (and maybe after John David and Jana, can't remember) they decided that they'd name all the kids with 'J' names so that "no one would feel left out".

My husband, daughter and I all have R names. The next one won't have an R name, the only reason why my daughter does is because my husband wouldn't budge, he loved the name. I don't love any other R names and I figure the new baby will one day understand why I named it what I think is a great name instead of something I don't like to "fit in"

It bothers me that James is Joshua's middle name and his 12th sibling is named James. I think it's funny that they got to Jinger and Joy-Anna before Jennifer.

I detest the fact that Jeremiah and Jedidiah have the same middle name. It's one thing that all the kids names start with a J. Another that Jeramiah and Jedidiah are very similar and awful that they couldn't at least give each their own middle name.

Ok, that show is seriously my guilty pleasure. I can't get enough of it. Number 18 is due in January IIRC, and it's going to be another girl.

I'm bothered by Jeremiah and Jedidiah (although I like both names) and by Joy-Anna and Johannah. And by the fact that Josh's wife Anna reminds me of his sisters A LOT.

The names are pretty "ehh" for me except for Joy-Anna and Jinger, which I hate. I don't like Jeremiah and Jedidiah much either, but given how uber Christian the family is, it fits them.
