I just saw a birth announcement at a friend's house for a baby girl named Everly and fell in love with it!! Evelyn is a family name, but the most recent Evelyn in our family doesn't have a reputation for getting along well with others. While I love Evelyn, I have been reluctant to use it because it makes me think of this person. I thought Everly would be a beautiful choice for a similar name.

The rest aren't my style at all. I wonder if Destiny is on Forever's list of possible names. The jokes just flow mentally!

I have no memory of where that's from, but I *always* think of it when I hear that name. I know Patient Griselda is a character in Chaucer, but I think the couplet is maybe Dorothy Parker??

I've known a Jairo (pronounced Jye-ro). It's not common, but I don't think it's that odd.

Thibault seems a little too Shakespearean to me...

Everly makes me think of the Everly Brothers.
Griselda, Forever, and Eternity just seem bad to me.

I was planning on posting about Thibault too, but I didn't =P. Anyway, I watch Belgian television sometimes, and it seems like that name is super popular over there right now! I think it's nice, but I wouldn't use it.

Eternity would make a really nice name for a pet or a fictional character, I think. :) I kind of like Everly too. The others, not so much.
