I want to name my daughter after my mom but I can't think of a good middle name. My mother's name is Beth. Can anyone think of a good middle name to go with it?

Is there any way you could use Beth as a middle name? One syllable names have a hard time working as first names.

I love being a Beth. It's can be quirky, pretty, sophisticated, you name it. And it's not really popular in my area! It is short for Elisabeth, though. :( I agree with the other commenters, though. Beth as a stand-alone first name makes it harder to find a middle name that flows.

I was also thinking Beth Anne. Beth Amy maybe, although that's very Little Women.

A name that sounds like Elizabeth would go with Beth. I mean in length and enunciation.

Beth Alexandra
Beth Diana
Beth Colleen
Beth Alaina (or Elena or however you like it)
Beth Rebecca (a bit much but I think it's cute!)
Beth Charlotte
Beth Michelle
Beth Raquel
Beth Camille
Beth Isabella

Not to be a wet blanket, but you know someone would start calling Beth Rebecca "Beth Becky" just to be an ass.

does that mean something? Other than sounding clunky, which is bad enough, I don't see what's so bad.

Are there any other relatives you admire whose names you could use? You can even just use a variant of the name if it sounds better.
