Since the stillbirth last July, the children have been asking about us trying to conceive again.

Today, they informed us about baby names that they like, to 'help' us.

Jerry, my 10 year old, thinks that Anniken, Luke, Leia, Padme, & Obi-Wan are fantastic names. He said that if the next baby, whenever he/she comes along, isn't named after a Star Wars charactor, he will be mad. Lord...

Jordyn, my 7 year old, has more realistic names; Isabella & Jack. Yet, still never fails me by offering up Hannah (from Hannah Montana), Ariel, Belle, & Cinderella.

I am thankful for their input, but I don't think that they would be as thrilled when they got over if I took their advice;)

I knew someone who swear they knew someone whose last name was Walker. She named her son Luke Sky.

It doesn't seem likely, but it still makes me laugh thinking about it.

Luckily for my future nephew my sister's last name isn't Walker!! It is my best friend's last name though but her son is Tyler :)

My husband's mother quite seriously wanted to name him that (our last name is Walker). His father refused. My husband was dead set on naming our son Luke Sky at first, but I talked him out of it, so when we have a kid, he will not be horribly humiliated for life.

I like the name Luke, although...short for Lucas, usually. Leia isn't bad either, but I don't know if I'd use it. It's pretty obviously Star Wars related.

Hannah is a nice name. Cinderella, eh, not so much haha.

Technically, if you're as big a nerd as me, you'd know that Jack is also technically a Star Wars name. I actually like Luke and Ariel - with Ariel on either sex.

I actually like Anakin as a name, too, but, obviously, it's nothing I could ever use on a kid. Maybe an animal, lol.

Anakin is on my guilty pleasure list.
Luke and Leia are on my name list, but I've modified Leia into Taleia.
Isabella and Jack are also on my name list.
One of my best friends is named Arielle, which is a nice variation of Ariel.

I really like Ariel, Hannah, Belle as a nn, Leia and Luke. Couldn't use them all together, obviously, but I think they're nice names. And I love Disney and Star Wars. =)

haha. it's always cute to see what names little kids like. my brother wanted to name me zsa zsa. i'm glad my parents disagreed.

i like the name annika for a girl. you could always use that instead of anniken. or luca/lucas if you're not huge on luke. i think leia is usable. i kind of like it. i also love belle, but cinderella...not so much. lol
