Grayer?

I'm currently reading The Nanny Diaries for the 7th, 8th, maybe 9th time, and I still haven't figured out how to pronounce the little boy's name.

The name is Grayer. How would you pronounce that? Like Grair (rhymes with Blair)? Or like Gray-er?

Doctor's have a way of checking, but it's not 100% sure. I sort of thought they were identical just by my own research before the doc said, so when she said she had no doubt they were I believed her. They could come out not identical, it's never 100% until they are born, and even then until they do a DNA test I think.

I'd say it how it looks - Gray-er. Depending on the accent of the person saying it, both pronunciations might sound really similar anyway.
