I was just wondering what you all thought of the name Breearn for a girl?

If you saw it in this way: Breeahn - would you pronounce it BREE-ARN or BREE-ANN?

I don't like when an -er/-ar sound is spelt with the letter "r" but then I'm just weird like that. One of our clients names is Samanther. And there is a Roseannar. Seriously, that is gross.

Breeahn is quite nice, pronounced Bree-ann, I'm not too fond of any other variations.

Bree-arm probably. It's one of those made up names that dont mean anything & are too trendy to be pretty, imo.

It sounds ok but I don't like either of the spellings. Tricky. I think it's important that whatever spelling you pick makes it look like it has two syllables, not like "breane" which would just be "breen"... also, I think breeahn is like this long string of letters that might be hard to read.

With all those names that end with an "an" sound I think it's hard to tell whether it's meant to be like "anne" or "ahn" (or, apparently, "on", according to some american people on this forum but I've never heard it here in australia)

So I think she might just have to have a spelling like Briane/Breeanne etc that looks like "anne" and correct people on the pronunciation... it's one of those tough ones because all the spellings have been used for lots of pronunciations.

I agree, and it reminds me of how some people say "warter" instead of "water". I don't get it. I also really don't like the spelling of Breeahn. Ew. Just spell it normally: Brianne.

Sorry, I think I misunderstood what you are asking. Do you want it to be pronounced Bree-arn? I'm not particularly fond of the name, but I wouldn't pronounced it that way unless the r was present.
