Milo Drake...thoughts?

Drake is for my husband's sted-dad who passed away last summer. The baby is due on his birthday. I'm not sure I could get away from using it even if I wanted to.

For some reason Milo Drake reminds me of Draco Malfoy.

I like Drake more than Milo - which in my opinion could potentially not age very well.

How do you feel about using it as the first name?

Even though I've never actually WATCHED the movie, I can't help but think of Milo and Otis.

Though, most names are going to remind SOMEONE of SOMETHING. So...there could be a lot worse choices/worse associations...

I like Milo but idk how well it would age. Not a fan of Drake until I read that it has meaning to you guys. When a name has meaning it completely changes everything lol

I'd probably try a different first name that you could maybe give the nn Milo to and don't ask me what that would be because I have no clue! lol Milo is so cute for a little boy but for a grown man, maybe not.

Myles? Miles?
I have a cousin named Miles Anthony, we call him Milo.

Agreed with the others; Milo sounds like a nickname for a ten-year-old, not an adult. I liked Drake even before I read the meaning, so that one is a yes for me.

Milo sounds like a dog's name to me.

Reminds me of Milo Ventamiglia (no clue if that's right), the hot guy on Heroes. So it gets a + from me! :)

I think it's alright, though to me it doesn't quite flow well, it seems too short. And I thought about Milo maybe being a nn for something longer like Emilio, or Maxamillion. I like Emilio more than Maxamillion, but I think Maxamillion is so long that it makes for a better flow with Drake as the middle name. Would you consider maybe adding a second middle name if you're going to just go with Milo? Like just for example, Milo Drake Owen "lastname". ?
