"Victor and Digna Carpio of Queens, who welcomed New York's second-ever set of sextuplets, unveiled the names of the four boys and two girls Monday at a press conference at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.

The names are: Justin, Danelia, Jezreel, Genesis, Joel and Jadon."

Their eldest son's name is Jhan, btw.

WDYT? Personally, I think the names don't go well together at all and are generally only mediocre (Justin, Joel, and Daniela balancing out the rest of the names, IMO), but congrats to the happy couple anyway. :)

(FYI: Justin, Jezreel, Joel, and Jadon are the boys; Daniela and Genesis are the girls.)

No thanks. They're all stupid names, with the exception of Justin and Joel. If I were Justin or Joel, I'd be SO HAPPY I GOT THE NAME I DID.

I love Joel. Justin and Daniela (?) are pretty nice. Genesis is tolerable. But Jezreel, Jadon and Jhan? WTF.

Justin, Daniela, and Joel are all decent names. I even really like Joel, and I think Daniel could grow on me.

Jhan, Genesis, Jadon, and especially JEZREEL are awful, though.

omg. WHY! they had so many opportunities (ahem..SEVEN) to use good names!!!! the only decent ones are justin and joel, but i think even those are kind of blah. is danelia a typo? is it supposed to be daniela? i like daniela, but if it is, in fact, danelia..then.....ugh.

Yeah, don't have much that's interesting to say about those names, but...

...I couldn't help but notice your icon. Are you planning on doing NaNoWriMo this November? I am!! First time doing it though...so we'll see how it goes. :o)

Oh my god. I actually said that out loud after I read them. They're awful. Well, not all of them. Justin, Joel and Danelia really aren't that bad, but Jezreel, Genesis and Jadon? Why are they so bad? Why is Daniela the only one that starts with a different sound? How do they get so many chances to name a child and get so many wrong?

... Did two different people pick these names? They have Mom pick three and Dad pick three to compromise? =P

Yeah, this is terrible. Joel is the only one I like.

Genesis is a guilty pleasure name for me.

They're pretty much biblical names. At least I know Genesis, Joel, Jadon, and Jezreel, (which could have the passable, maybe even cute nn "Jez") can be found in the bible. Danelia of course is just a feminized version of Daniel, which is also in the bible. So I assume they're religious.

Also, I bet Jhan is just a different spelling for "John". So you could say he has a normal name, just it's spelled different.
