I have an almost 3 year old niece, Corynne. Sister in law is pregnant again and they just found out it's a girl. Brother wants to name her Guinevere. Thankfully, my sister in law has a brain and has nixed that. I know two boys names they were talking about were Blake and Dylan. I'm hoping that they don't follow the God awful trend of using either of those names on a girl.

I will update when I find out what name they decide on.

I second this. It's beautiful. Maybe a bit too ... I don't know, King Arthur-ish for me to ever use, but I love the name itself.

I don't like Blake or Dylan on a girl, and I'm pretty sure sis in law and brother wouldn't do that, but....I'd rather than that Guinevere. I think it's a very ugly name.

I really like love Guinevere, and I don't terribly mind Blake on a girl, but Dylan is too much for me (probably because I don't like the name anyway). Corynne is the worst of the bunch, IMO; it seems super trendy.

But Guinevere is a great name. I teach a baby named Guinevere at my swimming classes, and they call her Gwen. It's so cute.

Corynne is awful. Guinevere would be much more tasteful, even though I dislike the name in itself.

Blake is tacky on a boy too, imo, but I love Dylan!!

I don't like Guinevere, it looks like Guinea, which looks like guinea pig. I love Blake on girls, I think it's so pretty. I'd love to use it. Dylan, I prefer more on boys, but don't object to it on girls.

I agree with most people here, the ugliest name on there is Corynne =S I am also big on guys names on girls... so Dylan and Blake are cute enough for me. There are boys names I do not like on girls, like David, John, Joseph but I do like Joe as a nn for Josephine or even Jordan. I used the name Damien on a female character and would loooove to name a girl that (though I doubt it'll happen xD)

I really like Guinevere, although I'm not sure it sounds wonderful in a sibset with Corynne. Blake and Dylan are both great too, though, and would be good with Corynne.
