My friends Brian Ivan Nicholas (Bri) and Samantha Megan (Sammie) had chosen the names Emily Jocelyn Camille or Noah Samuel Alexander for their baby.. She gave birth last night and they've decided he looks more like a KAYDEN! Kayden Logen Wat joins seven year old Olivia Madeleine Renee and three year old Bradley Ian Nicholas.

 

WDYT?

Personally, I think Noah is wayy nicer than Kayden and goes better in their sibset. I also HATE the spellings Logen and Wat. They could have at least used Logan and Wyatt.

Those other names sounded gorgeous together! What happened? The other children have such sensible names. Why couldn't he be Kayden Samuel Alexander? Why did they have to switch to such a trendy name and then misspelling the middle names too? Sorry. :\ Congratulations to them anway on the new arrival.

because apparently Kayden 'doesn't go' with Samuel or Alexander and Logen and Wat do. Sammie also pointed out that those "are the proper spellings. Wyatt makes no sense!"

Oh, nobody looks like a Kayden. But that and Logen are really trendy, so it fits with Olivia. I don't even want to say Logen the same way as Logan, the E makes it seem like it's a soft G. And I had no idea what the heck Wat was even supposed to be, I figured it was a typo.

Noah Samuel Alexander is a really nice name, three of my favourites together.

Are Wat and Wyatt supposed to be pronounced the same or what? Otherwise, I'm not getting the comparison between the two other than Wyatt is wonderful and is actually a name and Wat reminds me of twat. I'm also sick of seeing baby boys named Kayden and Jayden. People can't honestly think they're still being "unique" by using those names, can they?!?! They got it right the first time with Noah. They should have stuck with that!

How do you pronounce Wyatt/Wat? To me, Wyatt is WYE-it and if I had to pronounce Wat I'd say WAHT. Definitely not even close to the same name in my mind.

Wat is NOT Wyatt, I don't care what she says. Wat-ever...Kayden may be uber-trendy and not as good of a choice as Noah, but at least she didn't go for the name Kandon. I know someone who did. The siblings' names are really nice, though!

I like the names from the cheerleading squad too, though Jasmin without the E bothers me. Is Shielanne pronounced like "Sheila-Anne," "Shy-Lann," or something else? Forgive me if I sound ignorant, I'm just curious. :)
