I just remembered...
Oct. 25th, 2008 08:48 pmA few weeks back, my friends and I were out doing some shopping. One of my friends told me she had been visiting her friend who just had a baby boy. Apparently, this friend with the cute baby boy named him Howl.
HOWL!
I pretty much went "Ewwwww" and my friend said "I know right".
I can't remember what the middle name was, but it was prettier than Howl.

Date: 2008-10-25 12:02 pm (UTC)Howell would be acceptable, Howl is the noise a wolf makes.
Let me introduce you to my children Woof and Meow. Lol.

Date: 2008-10-25 11:27 pm (UTC)Howell with a very slight difference in pronunciation, depending on the dialect of the person saying it, and last names should stay as last names.
Equally repulsive is the name Wolfgang! Which is essentially two words smashed together, neither of which even separately, are good choices for a name. Sadly, a friend of mine named her son Wolfgang, and called him Wolfie. I don't like to be overly critical, but I can't help but cringe at some names. =/
