Yes, exactly! Are there even any words where 'igh' make an 'eee' sound? Not that I can think of that's for sure. And personally, I don't accept the whole 'gaelic/irish' whatever spelling where words completely aren't spelled the way they sound. I hate it. As far as I'm concerned, if it doesn't have at least some phonetic connection, to me, it's NOT what people sound it out as.
