I actually wouldn't think that I would like it, but saying it out loud, I think I do. I don't think that I would ever use it, but it sounds really smart, and strong, or something.
Well, I've determined that I'm a huge fan of it, so it makes me pretty happy that there are other people that like it. What middle name did you use, if you don't mind my asking?
It's perhaps a bit too German sounding for me to ever use (unless I married someone from over there or someone with a strong heritage) BUT I really, really like it.
I don't hate it, but I dislike it. It feels very old fashioned to me...Also, German is my native tongue, and I think it sounds kinda weird when pronounced by English speakers.
I don't like Dietrich because it just makes me think of 'dick', and I don't like that 'die' and diet' are in it.
I prefer Fridric, without the k at the end because sound wise, it's redundant, and I prefer it over Friedrich because I don't like 'fried' nor 'rich' which even though I know can make the 'kuh' sound, I know some people are dumb when it comes to reading.
