At the hospital where I work a couple just had twins. Meccah (boy) and Messiah (girl).

they both could be considered disrespectful by at least two different religions... especially if they have absolutely no link to those religions themselves

Their other two kids are Jahblyss (Jah means God) and Ah'zion (Zion - originally a stronghold captured by David (the 2nd king of the Israelites)). I think they meant the religious references. I just don't understand why you would name a girl Messiah.

messiah seems like its more boyish... but why would you name your kid that?! Unless God told her to.

I suppose you can argue that for Emmanuel too. bah. still silly
