The model on America's Next Top Model spells it Analeigh, which I prefer, because I can actually figure out how to say it then. Annelie looks like how it's spelled: anne-lie.

At first I liked that spelling, but then I looked at it and I'm totally against the word ANAL being in my child's name...Haha, just a personal preference, I guess.


Hmm...Annaleigh seems too bulky. Annalie? I thought Annelie was kind of like Anneliese without the se, and most people know how to pronounce that, so yeah. But I see how it looks like anne-lie, too.

They all sound close to "anally" to me. I know that they're not, but I just can't put that out of my head for some reason.

I feel like Annalie would be pronounced Anna Lie (like the word Lie, not the sound ly) though. I prefer it spelled Annaleigh, because that seems further from the "anally" thing, but it is a lot of letters.

I prefer "Awnuh-lee" for pronounciation. I too don't like words in names much: anal/lie.
As far as spelling it the way you prn. it. Maybe Annaley, or just Annali, as the letter i is also known to make the "ee" sound in certain words. =/

I prefer Annalie, probably because there is a little girl at my church with that name and she is just adorable.
