Oct. 11th, 2008 05:52 pmSo...
My boyfriend's last name is "Ganousis" pronounced Ja-new-sis. Kind of like Genesis. We're not marrying anytime soon, but I love names.
I just don't know if a one-syllable name would sound really great. He likes the name Cole. So Cole Ganousis. For some reason, to me, that sounds really plain.
What do you guys think? My name is Samantha and my boyfriend's name is Michael. I almost like 2 or 3 syllable first names better than a 1 syllable.
I also love names where nicknames can be made, and names that are unisex. I'm not looking for any specific recs, although that would be nice, just moreso opinions.
Thanks so much!

Date: 2008-10-12 02:38 am (UTC)I dont think the last name is too long to pair with another longer name, but if doing so I think the middle name should only be one syllable. 3 x 3 syllable names could become difficult or sound out of place.
Some suggestions:
Quinn
Elijah (Eli)
Erica
Imogen
Christopher
Kingston/Kingsley
Dorian (Dory/Rian = unisex to me)
