My husband and I love the name Natalie. We haven't decided on the spelling we like yet. We are not going to try to have another baby until maybe march. Getting pregnant that is. Is there any way to use the name Natalie as a middle name and it sound nice or should natalie just be a first name only name? And also my son's name is Draven and my daughter's name is Isis....would it be weird to give the third kid a "normal" name and not something exentric like draven or isis? Any help or ideas would be great.

I think Natalie would be fine as a middle name, if that's what you want. I would stick with the Natalie spelling, though. That's just me.
I really like Brenna Natalie. But I don't know what kind of names you have in mind for the impending little'un :) Good luck!

If you both love Natalie, then why not have it as the first name? Nothing wrong with that :)

i think it's okay to give your third child a "normal" name. natalie can definitely be a middle name.

I enjoy the name Natalie too. I think it would sound fine with the other eccentric names. It does, however, stick out to me as a first name rather than a middle name.

Well, i think it would be a little weird after the two unusual names you have given your son & daughter, but if you love the name then go for it. I don't see it as a middle name really, IE names don't seem to work as middle with many names IMO..
I don't especially like Natalie myself, but i think Natalia is beautiful.

i had a Ukranian friend named Natalie, who called her Natalka, the ukranian form.

i always loved Natalka as a name... it's spelled phonetically, too, so it can be eccentric without giving people a hardcore 'WTF?' reaction. :)

I like Natalie, alhtough it may sound a little strange with your other kids names, I like Natalka! I think it's very pretty.

Also, I've always wondered this, how do you pronounce Isis? Is it just Eye-sis? or different?

i like Natalie
the Italian form is Natale

but i see your point about the unusual names and then the "normal" one...
i am in the same situation only reversed --i love unusual name but nick and i already decided on Scott and Samantha for our first boy and girl...

I don't think it's necessary for names to "match". Imho, a name should be given out of love, and if you and your husband love the name Natalie then that's all that matters. Btw, Draven and Isis are wonderful! :)

I love the name Natalie :)

But, stick with the traditional spelling. There's nothing worse than having to correct somebody everytime they spell your name the traditional way, or the "wrong" way.

Natalie is one of my favourites. I don't know any other spellings besides Nathalie, which is ok if you're in a French-speaking country but I think it's confusing otherwise. I suppose you could give her an unusual middle name if you want to match with the siblings - that way, if she felt the same way as Donna did, she could just choose to go by her unique middle name instead.

Hmm...well it's always good to have uncommon name for a kid, but if there's a name you really like but is getting common that's ok too.

Like other people have said, I'd go with Natalia. :) I think it goes better with your other children's names.
