Names of kids of people I knew in high school:

Alexis Marie
Kash Herman
J'Lyssa Three
Adrian (m), Mia and Amaya
Trent Michael
Chanelle
Twins: Miah (prn. My-a) and Alyssa, and Gabrielle Chanel

And another friend is expecting: Jaden Michael.

I expected them to sound more cohesive.  We all came from the same high school, graduated within 2 years of each other.  Is that odd?

Adrian & Mia are great, and Amaya is ok, I think.

I also like Alexis Marie despite its incredible trendiness.

I don't think it's odd - there are all sorts of family traditions, as well as the culture of their own family and the family of the other parent.

I don't know anyone else in my graduating class who has kids (though I am 3000+ miles away) but mine are likely to have more British/European names due to my English husband than those of my former classmates.
