So, I'm 17 weeks, and these are my personal favorites at this point in time, all of which my husband agrees with. I'm just looking for some extra thoughts and input! I'm Kristina Marie (Kristy), he's Arthur James (Art), and our last name is two syllables and French (starts with a "G" ends with "eau"). Jonathon would surely become a John/Jon, James we would prefer to stay James (maybe Jamie, NO Jim/Jimmy), Amelia I like as is but we're okay with Amy, and Lilianna he likes that it can be Lily or Anna, though I'd probably stick with Lily.

Any input in relation to anything is welcome...Like is it realistic to really not want a Jim/Jimmy and have it stay that way?

Edit: I could spell Jonathon/Jonathan either way, no preference...That's just what popped out first :)

Jonathon Robert and Amelia Grace certainly (though I prefer Jonathan and Amalia). Best wishes for the pregnancy :)

None of the Jameses I know get called Jim or Jimmy. They're all James. I think the Jim thing is more old fashioned. Like William becoming Bill.

I like that Jonathan (I prefer that spelling, btw) could be called JR and James could be JC, if you wanted or if there were a lot of other kids with the same name. I don't think a James would necessarily be called Jim or Jimmy--I've known some who weren't.

I didn't vote for girl names, because I'm too quick on the "submit" button, but I like both. I think I slightly prefer Lilianna, but I'm not wild about the spelling (don't know what I'd suggest instead, though). I think Marie is a little bland with it, too. And Grace, while a name I love a lot, sounds like filler with Amelia. Just my thoughts.

i think naming a boy james and staying james is completely realistic. i have met many males of all different ages who introduce themselves as "james" - i just met a 17 year old who goes only by james.

And was Christsopher supposed to have the double s? Or did you mean Christopher?
