Kyra: KEE-rah
Keira: KEAR-ah

You're not stupid! It might just have something to do with the fact that I'm in Europe.

it depends- it's a traditional Irish spelling- but it gets anglicized a lot to see-air-ah or see-ahr-uh...

Haha, I disagree with most of the comments. To me Kyra is khi-rah, Kira is KEE-rah, and Keira/Kiera are key-AIR-ah like Keira Knightley.

That said, I like Kira the best.

I'm confused about the KEAR spelling. Is that supposed to be KEER-a or KEYAR-ah or KARE-a. Cause with that phonetic spelling it could be any of them.

And to the original poster: I like Ciara the best but if you choose that it would probably be mispronounced all the time, so honestly I'd go with Kira...if you're going to go with a different spelling than the original at all you might as well go for the most straightforward one.
