A set of twins I know recently both became fathers to baby girls.

On August 26 Avery's girl was born and is named Autumn Brooke Gracie. (The mother is named Erin)
And then on September 18 Ashton's girl was born and is named Braelynn Gracie Dawn. (The mother is named Bridget)

The twins are my age-ish (I'm 20) and their girlfriends are around the same age.

What do you guys think?

Yeah I'm not sure if it's a family name. Either that or they just wanted their kids to have a matchy middle name.

Autumn is a pretty name. Braelynn, as all "bray" names do, makes me think of donkeys. I really don't get the appeal. The dumb spelling doesn't help the appeal either. And Gracie is too cutesy. They named a baby, but I don't think they grasp that's not what she'll always be.

Wordy McWord. Almost all of these names are atrocious (including the guys, sorry =/). Autumn Brooke actually isn't that bad -- a little hippie-ish, but it's kind of pretty. Dawn is NMS but nice. The rest? Well, since I can't say anything nice, I'm not gonna say nothin' at all. Except, poor Braelynn. =(

Yay for Autumn =) That's my name. Not a fan of "Gracie"-I think Grace would be better. Braelynn just sounds...not good.

They both used Gracie? Did they plan ahead? I'm hoping it was like, a family name, and they both didn't actually come up with on their own. If they wanted the kids to match, that's kind of weird.

I'll be the minority, I'm okay with it, but I would rather have the name Braelynn than Autumn Brooke. Autumn Brooke just sounds so cheesy; it's too earthy. And they're names that I've heard before. I don't actually like Braelynn though, she should go by Dawn.

I don't like Braelynn too much, but I like how they share a middle name; it's nice, it keeps the connection that the fathers are twins... sort of.

I didn't think anything could touch Peyton for sheer naming horror, but Braelynn is fast approaching. More than one person decided Bray + trendy suffix = good name for future woman? WHAT?
