Middle name ideas.
Sep. 24th, 2008 01:31 amWhen I first got into names and such, I learned that my middle name (Megan) is directly related to my mother's middle name (Margaret), and I thought it'd be a cool idea to continue on the "tradition," when I finally start having kids (I'm quite a few years off from that.)
I was tossing around the idea of May as a mn but it just sounds awkward against my first name choices (Andrea, Charity, Chelsea, Keira, etc.).
So, either a better mn choice for my first names (my namelist) or fn choices that work with the mn May.
Behind the Name's list of names related to Margaret, for reference.
I would prefer for the mn to not sound nicknamey (so Madge and Meg and Peg are out)
Edit: Thoughts on the name Taika?

Date: 2008-09-24 11:11 am (UTC)I like Chelsea May and Keira May, although May is kind of far from Margaret, to me.
How about Pearl (or Perla, italian version) ? That's ultimately what Margaret means.
But I also like Greta, although not along with your first name choices (the styles are too different).
