I have, frightenly enough, reached the age in which people I know (some a year older, some a few years younger) have begun to spawn.

Surprisingly enough, none of the names blow!

Boys:
William (newborn, just saw his picture and he is RIDICULOUSLY cute)
Lincoln (1 year, and I just found out from his mom that he's going to be a big brother)

Girls:
Haley
Kira
Alessandra

Also, I have this habit of naming things that stick around. The snail in my apartment is Michelle. I think she might be dead. Anyway, I am back in my hometown for a brief moment and I have been told that we have an infestation of wild turkeys in our yard; there are seven of them and I don't know if they are boys or girls, so I have named them (for the moment):

Pat
Consuelo
Alexis
Dana
Shannon
Jordan
Quinn

Well, I figure that I don't know what sex it is, and Consuelo is a female name that to a non-Spanish-speaker kind of sounds like it could be a male name.

Plus, shit, who doesn't want a wild turkey named Consuelo living behind their house?
