When I was picking Elle up from nursery I was talking to a woman also picking up her children. She had newborn b/g twins with her called Shannon & Riley, and was picking up daughter Emily.

So when I got the monthly news letter it said how Emellie has a new brother Shannon & sister Rhylee.
I'm hoping it was just a typo and that Shannon is the little girl.

Shannon is a boy's name, too... but those spellings (Emellie and Rhylee) are atrocious. And Mekaylar is just tragic.

I've met a man named Shannon before. I actually like it on a boy, but wouldn't use it because it's really no longer a unisex name.

Mekaylar is just awful. Emellie? Rhylee? Shevon? Jak? WTF? What exactly was wrong with Emily, Riley, Siobhan or Jack? I don't mind certain alternative spellings of Emily, but Emellie is just mind-bogglingly terrible.

Shannon is a boys name though, isn't it? Rhylee is awful on anybody though. I feel bad that Shevon's parents thought that they had to spell Siobhan that way. And yeah, Mekaylar.
