i was going to say "so you're italian eh?" and then i saw your username haha.

that said, i dont really like ann for a sibset of middle names because i have the same middle name as my mother and brother, and it doesnt really feel like it's mine y'know? but it's a nice middle name in general. some of the names that are more out there like olimpia, elettra, and sauro arent my taste, but the rest are quite nice.

I feel the same about the middle name thing, I got Ann too, and I dislike for that reason. In my mom's (Janis) case, though, I should have specified that Gail died before my mom was born, maybe had she been alive, my mom would have had a different middle name (but I don't know for sure)

i never understood why parents used the same middle name for siblings. for example..felicity huffman and william h. macy have two daughters: sophia grace and georgia grace. o_O

Yeah, I feel the same, but my mom (Janis) was born after her sister Gail died, so maybe that's why they choose to repeat the middle name.
Although, I have Ann as a middle name too, and I believe my grandmom did too, so it could just be that they wanted all the women in the family to have it!
I find it tacky in that case!

hahah in my uncle's case, just that he was born in the 70's :D
that name was a big hit at the time!
