It first made me think of Scooby Doo, but then I realized I kind of don't hate it.

My dad REALLY wanted to name me Daphne, but my mom refused, because she didn't want me growing up with the nickname Daffy (same reason she didn't want me named Tiffany/Tiffy).

I don't mind it, though.

I think of Scooby and I think of...that one movie with Amanda Bynes. I don't hate it but I don't think I'd use it for one of my children. It isn't fitting for my family, ya know? I wouldn't think anything of it if I met a Daphne though. It really isn't a horrible name.
