[identity profile] laananas.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
These names are some favorites of mine. I'm not pregnant, nor am I planning on getting pregnant soon, but I like to plan ahead.

What kinds of people do you think of when you hear these names? What do you think of the names themselves? Which of the names go best with the other names for First/Middle combinations?

There is a star next to the names that are favorites.

Added after: Wow, didn't know how many I had! Lol.

Girls:
Cambree - I'm undecided. I've never heard it before, but it's kind of cute.
Sadie - Cute! I don't see it aging well, though.
Sophie - I love Sophie.
Grace* - LOVE! Very popular, though.
Emma* - My favorite name ever, but I recently used it on my kitten because it's waayyy too popular for me to ever consider using on a baby.
Maylea - Nah.
Amaya* - Meh. It's ok.
Bailey - I've never liked Bailey. Too cutesy/boyish at the same time..
Charlie* - I really hate this name for a girl. :( Actually I hate it for a boy, too.
Charlotte - LOVE! One of my very favorites.
Alexis* - Eh. Too 80s for me.
Madison* - Too popular, and I can't figure out why it got so popular in the first place..
Ireland/Irelyn - I really dislike "place names"
Sage* - Hmm. I guess it sounds cute, but I can't get past the fact that it's a spice.
Ruth - No, way too old ladyish.
Aspen - No way.
Lily - I love it, but again it's very popular.
Peyton - Bleh, I really dislike trendy boy names for girls.
Tegan - It's ok
Chandler - No way!
Willow* - It's alright. Kinda pretty.
Zalea* (Pronounced like the flower "Azalea", without the A) - I don't know how to pronounce it.. =/

Boys:
Dakota/Dakoda - Hate :(
Cambree - Doesn't sound good to me
Wakely* - Gah no.
Ambry - Sounds like a girl's name
Avery - I've always considered Avery to be a girl's name
Colby - Meh. It's ok
Wade* - Just sounds so wimpy to me.
Landon - I've always had something against the name Landon. I hate it. =/
Campbell - Not bad! Kinda cute!
Morgan - No, way too girly
Benjamin* - Great, classic name. :)
Tober - Sounds like sober.. no..
Peyton - Ok, I hate this name whether it's for a girl or a boy..
Noah* - I love Noah. :)
