okay, i have a question about last names. which last name would you most want to have out of the three below? disregard how it would sound with your first name/your child's name/etc. just choose based on only the last name.
note: braunstein is pronounced BRAWN-steen.

Which one?
Braunstein
Porter
Ryan

I picked Ryan because I just like that name hehe. May I ask why this poll?

I see hehe :-)

Yeah I was going to be Nikki Short, but thank goodness my husband took his stepfather's name (Martin) which Nikki Martin may sound a lot like Ricky Martin, but Nicole Martin is better than Short IMO. lol!

Ryan...it's one of those last names not easily made fun of. With Porter, if your child(ren) is(are) chunky, they'll be called Porker. Braunstein is just difficult to spell.

I chose Porter. I think it sounds nice. The only reason I wouldn't choose Ryan is if you (or any of your children) had kids they might have wanted to name the child Ryan, and that would be out of the question at the point. I also am guessing Porter is the mother's maiden name, and I think that's a nice way to choose because you still have family ties, there's more meaning.

Out of the three I think Porter sounds the most distinguished.

Porter because I love it as a first name :-)
