Cayden & Barret? (I'm not sure if I'd give up Connor though, and don't even know if my husband likes these haha!)

Cayden Asa Martin
Barret James Martin

OR
Cayden James Martin
Barret Asa Martin

And should we spell it Barrett or Barret?

Another funny thing is My name is Nicole/Nikki and my husband is Timothy so I suggested naming the boys Nicholas and Timothy!!

(It was just a joke. I swear.)

I like the name Kaden (which is also Cayden) its all just how you want to spell. It was reccomened to me by a person with a nontradtionally spelt name that its easier to just spell it the "normal" way, although I don't know what that would be in this case!
I like Barak (it means thunder!) better than Barret.
go with your gut though!
Cayden and Connor mayhaps?

I don't know which one came first. The first time I met someone named Kaden, that was the way he spelled it. I loved the name, and if it hadn't gotten so popular, it would be pretty high on my list of names! (he was born in 79)

I like Connor James *nodnod*
Not a big fan of the Cayden/Jayden/Hayden craze and Barrett isn't really my thing either.

What about having their names mean similar things?

Connor – much wanted/desire

I had a quick look and found a few…

Bane – Long awaited child
Brighton – The one who is loved
Darrel/Daryl – Beloved
Keefer – Beloved/Handsome

Or stick with the Celtic/Irish origin of Connor…

Aiden
Boyd
Brady
Braeden
Brendon
Cael/Kael
Callum
Colm
Darrin
Duncan
Evan
Flynn
Keagan
Kieran/Ciaran
Mannix
Murray
Quin
Reilly
Seamus (Shay-mus)
Shaun
Tiernan
Vaughan

Hope that helps :)

im curious, is barrett a family name? i know a ton of people with barrett as a last name (its actually pretty common where i live, including the mayor of my town, and one of my closest friends) so it sounds funny to me as a first name! i dont like the cayden/aiden/hayden/brayden trend either, sorry. i LOVE asa!

I'd spell it Barrett.

I hate Cayden. Its just like all the Aidan, Jayden, Hayden crap going around. Connor is much better.

I like Barrett James. I don't like Asa at all.

Don't do Cayden, please.

If you HAVE to, take the Y out. The Y makes it look feminine.

I think the K looks feminine, too. If I HAD to pick I'd go with Caden. But that's 2 letters away from Cadence which is... a girl name.

I'm also not really a good judge of the name in general because I hate it and all of its spellings and anything else that sounds like it, including Aiden, Jayden, Brayden, etc. I can't stand all of them. Sorry :[

I'd spell it Caden. Cayden looks too fussy...

Asa is a great name, but Caden James goes better.
Definetly spell it Barrett!
