Varie. Like Marie but with a V.

We have had a name set for our baby but out of no where he suggests using Varie for the middle name. It's not a bad name. But I'm so set on the name I have picked and I'm really not into two middle names. But maybe if we had another girl, I'd use it.

ok then i retract, haha. i still don't like it though, and i did read it like "very" before i read the pronunciation. i really don't recommend using it, maybe use his grandma's first name if he's really interested in honoring her?

Yeah her first name isn't bad- Ethel. I'm not sure if it's specifically about her, I don't think he ever knew her. The first time he heard her name was the other day when I asked his parents for their parent's names for the baby book. I think he just randomly liked the name.

I always though it was spelt Mharie, and said 'Varie'. It's Scottish as far as I know. And I like it spelt Mharie.
