Bingo. Started reading them when I was 7 14 years ago and I never stopped.

My mom started reading them to me when I was in kindergarten. I must have read the series myself after that at least 20 times. They were my FAVORITE as a little kid.

I still read them from time to time, along with Anne of Green Gables series and the Nancy Drew series. And sometimes the Baby-Sitters Club if i'm in the mood for something silly.

Also, I love the name Beatrix; it's classic, it's literary, and it's not that common anymore at all.

I love love love the name Arianne... I used to work for one and she was wonderful.
The nn Trixy for me gets put into the 'Candy, Baby, etc' nn's that remind me of strippers.
Ive known enough Ryan Scotts to last me a life time...
I do like the other boys names though...with the exception of Alexander Scott as Alexander just isnt my style.

I think Trixy is cute for like a 5 year old.

I didn't like the name Alexander for a long time but I like the nn Xander...I could never just name my kid Xander though.

Beatrix always reminds me of Beatrix Potter, and also I think one of the Queens granddaughters is called Beatrix, so for me it is a bit of a posh/snobby name.

I really like Nathanial.

Its pronounced just like Jean...just with 2 extra letters on the end. Its also my mom's middle name so I really want to pass it on to my oldest daughter.

I got Beatrix from Beatrix Potter; I'm a lit major and I want to be a school librarian so I have no problem naming my kid after authors.

I want to do that too; my middle name is the same as my mum's, so I want to pass it on.

I love Amelia Rose & Alexander Scott (even though i prefer Alexander as a middle name, because although it's lovely i know a bazillion Alex's)

I think it was the lack of pain medicine that caused her to name him that. She kept saying she loved Casey for a name and no one actually picked up on it until she named him that. It was just so weird.

Another Elinor lover! ahhaha. I've always loved that name, that spelling. Did you get it from Sense and Sensibility? I really like Mae with it. I think Amelia is cute too! Beatrix is okay, just because I love Beatrix Potter, I have a little bunny (not real haha) named Beatrix. But I really really hate trixy. To stripperish! ahhah.
