Sep. 9th, 2008 05:03 pmI adore the name Asher... I have since I was a young teen and read a book with a character named Asher. When I learned that it meant "happy" I began to love it even more and has been on top of my list for almost 10 years. I was curious, and thought I'd share with you other names that mean "Happy" (from behindthename.com)
Bolded are the ones I think are ok. I had to laugh at the suggestion of "Happy" itself, but I'm sure there would be at least one person out there with that name!

Macario (m) - I like it; surprised because it's not my style
Makena (m/f) - for a girl... how would you pronounce this, though... I say it ma-KEE-na
