My husband and I are still about three years from starting to try, but I thought I'd put some of are names out there.

A few things:
-There's a tradition on my husband's side on using Lee as the middle name for the first son. And any suggestions that go with Lee would be much appreciated because with having a ton uncles and male cousins I'm at my wit's end.
-Hana will be pronounced Ha-na after the town on Maui that we drove to the day before we got married.
-Ann, Mary, and Rose are grandmothers. Dale and Walter are grandfathers. LeeRoy happens to be the name of both of our maternal grandfather. And hubby takes a lot after Grandpa Schwartz (Walter) and Great Grandpa LeeRoy. Glen and Paul were my grandma's brothers that died young and I would only use those names with her permission.
-Hubby has a very off sense of names. He thinks that Owen is trendy and Jackson is old fashioned. *faceplam*

Date: 2008-09-09 03:24 am (UTC)Because Mary Anne should just be Marianne, and Rose and Anne are commonly fillery middle names, a longer but related middle should be used. The above suggestions are more interesting.
Mary Rosalind
Mary Rosanna
Mary Anneliese
Or you could do Rosemary.
Rosemary Anneliese is nice.
I do like Walter.
