I'm reading a book and one of the characters is named Kellen. This is the first time I've ever heard this name and I kind of like it. On the baby name sites, it says it's a unisex name.

WDYT?

What middle names would work with this name?

Kellen is one of my favorite names, especially for a boy.

Middle names are pretty much endless...it goes well with classic names or non-traditional...I just wouldn't have a middle name that rhymes or ends with the same sound.

I love Kellen. That was on our short list of names if our daughter was a boy.

I love it for both genders, and I also like it spelled Kellan.

Uh, I don't really find the comical value, jyl_mac.

Re the name: Sounds ugly with the heavy KELL, reminds me of Keenan and Kel, and definitely not unisex. Male, if anything.

I know a guy named Kellen (24) and a girl named Kellyn (22), both from the same town, so I always thought it was more popular than it actually is.

I like that - I've also seen it spelled Kellan and Kellin.
