So I was watching Judge Judy today and on came a case between 2 girls.  One was named Charmaine, which is okay, but not my style.  The other was named.... Lemonia... pronounced like ammonia.  No kidding.  I thought her name was Ammonia when I first heard it.  WDYT?

Judge Judy is a great place to find whack names

I remember watching one time when a woman was on her name was Xan-zex (or something like that) but was pronounced like the drug, Zanex, Her sister's name was Xion Pronounced like oxy-on, I can't remember how her sons name was spelt but it was pronounced Gen-tail ..

=\ My mind almost exploded from the horrific-ness of it all.

I met a Lamone (la-MOAN) the other day. "Think of lemons", she told me. It seems like the name of some sort of copy-righted artificial lemon scent. I think it would be okay, though definitely not my style, if that weren't my first thought when I heard it.

I think they're both terrible names that sound like they come from uneducated backgrounds.
Charmaine makes me think of Charmin toilet paper. Lemonia is just bad...
