(no subject)

what do you think of this sib-set:

Joash (prn. Joe-ash)
Issac
Solomon

They are a family that go to my little sisters school.
They're all very religious names. But I like them individually and also as a set.

also, one of the pupils at the school my mum works at is a girl named:

Pagan

Joash? Huh?

I love Isaac and Solomon is okay, but I would have (a) spelled it correctly and (b) probably used it as a middle name.

Hey, why not? If people name their kids Christian, why not Pagan?

i don't really like that either tbh

The sibset is nice enough, but I first read Joash as a mutilated version of Josh.

Pagan... is a religion, not a name.

Hahaha, Pagan is the same sort of sound as all the trendy names, Peyton, Aidan, etc., I'm honestly not that surprised to see it.

Can you imagine:

Walking up to someone, I would say, "Hi, I'm Lily." And this child will say, "Hi, I'm Pagan." I would want to say "That's nice, so am I. What's your name?"

I think it's weird when people name their kid Christian, and I think it's equally weird to name your child Pagan.

What if she grew up to find solace in faith? What if she fell in love with a deeply religious person? Yeah.
