Cedric is one of my top two, I would definitely use if I had a baby tomorrow boy names. I love it.
Gabriel, Jasper, and Matteo are also excellent names.
The ones I don't like: Holden - I dislike that it sounds like a verb - holdin'. Paired with whatever mn, say Michael, I think "Holdin' Michael?" It just bugs me. Matthew - So boring. So, so, SOOO boring. Xavier - Like it pronounced ZAY-vee-er. Love it that way. But would never ever use it because of all the people who mispronounce it X-ay-vee-er (even though no other X words are pronounced that way...) Isaiah - Too common. I know 3 or 4 baby Isaiahs, and I really don't know a lot of babies. Jace - Too nicknamey by itself.
i really like holden, i like the way it sounds and i just like literary names. but with such an obvious reference, (i'd feel the same if it were atticus, scout, ect) it does seem slightly pretentious.
matthew is a good name, although common. idk, i've always liked it.
xavier is very popular but i do like the way it sounds. i wouldn't use it because it's not really my style, but i like it anyway.
not a fan of cedric.
daniel is kind of meh, it's a decent name but it's boring somehow, more so than matthew.
i don't like matteo.
isaiah is ok, there's something about it that i don't like. i love isaac though.
i don't like jace, it sounds like a nickname instead of a full name.
i've started to love gabriel lately, it's my favorite on this list.
jasper sounds somehow pretentious to me. like i remember a few years ago when the whole ~scene~ thing was in with the teenagers with black hair and so many silly boys renamed themselves jasper.
I like Matthew and Daniel best. Xavier, Cedric, Matteo, Isaiah, and Gabriel are also nice, although I think Isaiah is pretty trendy. Jasper is okay. I've never liked Holden, but that could just be because I had a horrific teacher in elementary school named Mrs. Holden, haha. Jace sounds very informal, but you could probably use it as a nickname for Jasper.

I used to like Gabriel, but it has become so popular lately that I'm sick of it.
