Also, I was updating our contacts list at work today and found that we have 400 business aquaintances (out of 2200) named "Rick", 200 named "Rob/Bob" and 108 named "Andy".

Some unusual ones I noticed were Analek (f), Garo (m), and Rave (said as "Rahv" not "Rayve").

i LOVE annabelle, its high on my list. annabella is ok, but i am not a fan of the bella thing thats everywhere these days, so i prefer the simple bel/belle endings.

Annabelle is really common around here, and so I get a little tired of seeing it but I still think it's really pretty.

Colorado. Denver-metro area. Theres two at the supermarket I use for work supplies, another one at my grocery store, several business contacts in-state, several more out of state as well, but I have seen several around here.

wow! i met one very sassy annabelle who was like 5 years old and she made me fall in love with the name, she was so adorably attitude filled. she is the only annabelle i have ever met. interesting.

As a Sarah, you apparently have the 'h' on the end. Does it ever bother you when someone spells your name Sara, without the 'h'? Obviously some are born "Sara" but when someone writes YOUR name out without the 'h' does it bother you?

Just curious, as a writer, with a lead female character named Sarah :)

I'm not a huge fan of Belle/bella endings. To me they sound kind of hokey and both Annabelle and Sarahbelle puts me in mind of a cow's name. I like simple Belle, Anna, or Sarah much better. But I can understand the preference for more flowery sounding names.

I would never think or remember to not pronounce Rave like the techno dancing with glow sticks. What is the point of having the e on the end if you're not going to use it? Rahv? Dunno...

That's what I thought, too, with the e. I said to my boss "Rave(Rayve)'s company is misspelled I'm going -"
"It's Rahv"
"Uh, it's spelled "R-a-v-e" do we have it down wrong?"
"Nope. It's just...unusual" so I had to make a note in his sheet for everyone else in the office that it's pronounced Rahv, so no one else would do what I did :P

No, Emmalina was part of a pen name I considerd for awhile. Not Emmalina Filange that's in my profile, that was a joke with a friend lol.

Sarahbelle/Sarahbella seems really made up to me. I'm not a fan of Annabelle/Annabella, I don't really like names with Belle or Bella in them, but that is so much better. Annabelle is the best.

I'm not a huge fan of Sarahbelle/Sarahbella, but I'm also not a huge fan of the name Sarah. It's always sounded pretty dated to me. Annabelle was my favorite name for a long time, but I "gave it" to my sister to name her daughter. I wanted to use the middle name Lee with it, but it is my sister's middle name and she wanted to use it. So, I sold her the name for $5. Or, I didn't make any money. Maybe I should have asked. Haha.

ANYWAY. My niece is named Annabelle and we call her Annabella a lot. We actually never call her Belle, she is always Bella. I really don't know why as they are both different names, but alas, that is what we do. I somewhat prefer the name Annabelle to Annabella, but Annabella is much more fun to say. Haha.

I like Annabelle (Don Henley has a beautiful song called Annabel). I love Bella as a nn, but I think Annabelle works better than Annabella; the latter is a little over the top IMO.

I'm torn. I do like the sound of Sarahbelle, though I'd spell it Sarabelle because I think it looks slightly better that way. But I don't think I could ever use it.
