sarahbelle/sarahbella

vs

annabelle/annabella

wdyt?

Also, I was updating our contacts list at work today and found that we have 400 business aquaintances (out of 2200) named "Rick", 200 named "Rob/Bob" and 108 named "Andy".

Some unusual ones I noticed were Analek (f), Garo (m), and Rave (said as "Rahv" not "Rayve").

wdyt?

sarahbelle is strange. sarahbella is awful.

i LOVE annabelle, its high on my list. annabella is ok, but i am not a fan of the bella thing thats everywhere these days, so i prefer the simple bel/belle endings.

wow! i met one very sassy annabelle who was like 5 years old and she made me fall in love with the name, she was so adorably attitude filled. she is the only annabelle i have ever met. interesting.

Annabelle is 129084327584729382498325 times better than Sarahbelle. I like Sarah, but not Sarahbelle.

As a Sarah, Sarahbelle/Sarahbella sounds so weird. I like Annabelle better than Annabella though.

It used to bother me so much when I was much younger, but now that I'm older, I'm pretty much used to it.

I'm a Sarah, I get nicknamed by my parents "Sezibel"

I'm not a huge fan of Belle/bella endings. To me they sound kind of hokey and both Annabelle and Sarahbelle puts me in mind of a cow's name. I like simple Belle, Anna, or Sarah much better. But I can understand the preference for more flowery sounding names.

Hmmm...Sarah Anna, Sarianna... experimenting ;)

I would never think or remember to not pronounce Rave like the techno dancing with glow sticks. What is the point of having the e on the end if you're not going to use it? Rahv? Dunno...

That probably happens most places his name has to be.

I'm going to have to take back my previous statement of not liking bel endings. I saw Arabelle on a later post and really like it, so much for that!

ummm... annabelle. sarahbella sounds like cerebellum. annabelle reminds me of a song i played in middle school inspired by the "annabel lee" by edgar allan poe.

I like Sarabelle without the h. I think I may have a thing for strage 'belle' names though.

I like Sarabelle, no "h." Interested in why people are finding it strange, of all the crazy names we see posted here.

Is Emmalina your real name? I love it.

Annabelle.

Sarahbelle looks made up...and it's not that bad, but if I had to choose, I'd definitely choose Annabelle.

That 'h' in the middle is too weird.
Sarabelle "could" work.

But I prefer Arabelle/Arabella, in that case.

Rave is weird but I like it as short for Raven.

Sarahbelle/Sarahbella seems really made up to me. I'm not a fan of Annabelle/Annabella, I don't really like names with Belle or Bella in them, but that is so much better. Annabelle is the best.

I'm not a huge fan of Sarahbelle/Sarahbella, but I'm also not a huge fan of the name Sarah. It's always sounded pretty dated to me. Annabelle was my favorite name for a long time, but I "gave it" to my sister to name her daughter. I wanted to use the middle name Lee with it, but it is my sister's middle name and she wanted to use it. So, I sold her the name for $5. Or, I didn't make any money. Maybe I should have asked. Haha.

ANYWAY. My niece is named Annabelle and we call her Annabella a lot. We actually never call her Belle, she is always Bella. I really don't know why as they are both different names, but alas, that is what we do. I somewhat prefer the name Annabelle to Annabella, but Annabella is much more fun to say. Haha.

Sarahbelle sounds like a nickname for a three-year-old Sarah. Or a puppy.

I like Annabelle (Don Henley has a beautiful song called Annabel). I love Bella as a nn, but I think Annabelle works better than Annabella; the latter is a little over the top IMO.

I actually like Sarahbelle, and I don't like any names that have "belle" or "bella" in them.
Sarahbella sounds too much like cerebellum.
I don't like Annabelle or Annabella at all.

Annabelle is better..Sarahbelle/Sarahbella sounds like a nickname.

Not that I could use any of these, since my last name ends in "-elle." :)

I'm torn. I do like the sound of Sarahbelle, though I'd spell it Sarabelle because I think it looks slightly better that way. But I don't think I could ever use it.

I do love Annabelle, though I like it spelled Annabel.

I don't like Annabella or Sarabella at all.
