wdyt?
Also, I was updating our contacts list at work today and found that we have 400 business aquaintances (out of 2200) named "Rick", 200 named "Rob/Bob" and 108 named "Andy".
Some unusual ones I noticed were Analek (f), Garo (m), and Rave (said as "Rahv" not "Rayve").

Date: 2008-08-28 03:52 am (UTC)i LOVE annabelle, its high on my list. annabella is ok, but i am not a fan of the bella thing thats everywhere these days, so i prefer the simple bel/belle endings.

Date: 2008-08-28 04:00 am (UTC)Annabelle is really common around here, and so I get a little tired of seeing it but I still think it's really pretty.

Date: 2008-08-28 03:59 am (UTC)As a Sarah, you apparently have the 'h' on the end. Does it ever bother you when someone spells your name Sara, without the 'h'? Obviously some are born "Sara" but when someone writes YOUR name out without the 'h' does it bother you?
Just curious, as a writer, with a lead female character named Sarah :)

Date: 2008-08-28 04:05 am (UTC)Hmmm...Sarah Anna, Sarianna... experimenting ;)
I would never think or remember to not pronounce Rave like the techno dancing with glow sticks. What is the point of having the e on the end if you're not going to use it? Rahv? Dunno...

Date: 2008-08-28 04:08 am (UTC)That's what I thought, too, with the e. I said to my boss "Rave(Rayve)'s company is misspelled I'm going -"
"It's Rahv"
"Uh, it's spelled "R-a-v-e" do we have it down wrong?"
"Nope. It's just...unusual" so I had to make a note in his sheet for everyone else in the office that it's pronounced Rahv, so no one else would do what I did :P

Date: 2008-08-28 05:26 am (UTC)I'm going to have to take back my previous statement of not liking bel endings. I saw Arabelle on a later post and really like it, so much for that!

Date: 2008-08-28 06:53 am (UTC)Is Emmalina your real name? I love it.

Date: 2008-08-28 12:26 pm (UTC)But I love it too, which is why it was considered for a pen name.

Date: 2008-08-28 07:36 am (UTC)Sarahbelle looks made up...and it's not that bad, but if I had to choose, I'd definitely choose Annabelle.

Date: 2008-08-28 11:30 am (UTC)Sarabelle "could" work.
But I prefer Arabelle/Arabella, in that case.
Rave is weird but I like it as short for Raven.

Date: 2008-08-28 03:25 pm (UTC)ANYWAY. My niece is named Annabelle and we call her Annabella a lot. We actually never call her Belle, she is always Bella. I really don't know why as they are both different names, but alas, that is what we do. I somewhat prefer the name Annabelle to Annabella, but Annabella is much more fun to say. Haha.

Date: 2008-08-28 06:32 pm (UTC)I like Annabelle (Don Henley has a beautiful song called Annabel). I love Bella as a nn, but I think Annabelle works better than Annabella; the latter is a little over the top IMO.

Date: 2008-08-28 08:35 pm (UTC)Sarahbella sounds too much like cerebellum.
I don't like Annabelle or Annabella at all.

Date: 2008-08-28 09:44 pm (UTC)Not that I could use any of these, since my last name ends in "-elle." :)
