Also, what does everyone think of the name Ksenia (Kah-seen-yah OR Kah-see-nee-ah). It is growing on me, but I'm not sure how I feel yet. I like the second pronunciation better.

Ambrielle- sounds like they couldn't decide between Amber and Gabrielle.

Octavius D'mari- Octavious is far too pretenious. Its good if the kid grows up to a science professor or something, but what if he's a contstruction worker?

Journee Yasine- can the parents spell? I don't like the name Journey that much but if your going to use it at least spell it right.

Lynannis- this sounds very made up.

Giomairys: isn't this a character from LOTR?

I heard the name while watching the Olympics and used the pronunciations that I heard the American announcers say. Since I've never otherwise heard the name aloud, this would be my only point of reference.

i managed to find a couple i liked, but this is a pretty long list, so that really isnt saying much.

eli (preferably short for something)
emma rose (but its boring and is kind of making me hate emma now)
maddox (i liked it pre-angelina as an extended version of my favorite boys name, max, but i would NEVER use it now)
luke (prefer it short for lucas or luca)
zoe (my adorable neices name, cant help but love it)
sophia faith (actually very pretty, i love the name faith, and i prefer sophie)
olivia (i like it even though its so common these days)

I know someone whose name is Ksenia and she changed the spelling when she moved to the States so people could actually pronounce it.

That being said, it's a pretty name. I don't like either of your pronunciations, though. I AM DEFINITELY GOING TO GET FLAMED FOR THIS but it sounds like you're Americanizing it too much.
