WDYT.
I'm not ready to have another one already but i have been thinking of names when we have a girl.
I know it's kind of campy but i love it.
Mabel
Meaning: My Beautiful One
Orgin: English
If it makes any difference with a sibset.
The brother would be Van.

Mabel and Van make a great sibset, too. :)

Now i have a few years to make it grow on daddy, he doesn't like it so far.

But that's just my opinion.

A friend said the same thing.
At least it's cuter than Edna

I think it could grow on me though. There's a character in a Spanish show I watch called Mabel, but it's pronounce like ma belle which is french for "my beauty" (Hey! just like the meaning!haha), and I thought that was sweet.
But.. that's probably irrelevant.. lol!

I don't know how I feel about it. Part of me thinks it's cute but part of me thinks grandma's best friend.

I think thats why i like it so much.
A lot of people pass it over because they think old lady name
but i think if they met an actual girl named Mabel they'd think it was cute and different(which is the aim)

Although, I'm sure she'll get "Mabel is a cow name/COW!" jokes as a kid.
But, I'm biased because you used the name Ezra as a middle name, which is one of my all time favorites ever, so I'm suspecting Mabel will have a rad middle name as well. :) Plus, I like the nickname May.

It automatically makes me think of Pirates of Penzance, lol.

it reminds me of 'mad about you' (its what they named their baby girl at the end of the series) and helen hunts character said it stood for "mother always brings extra love" which has kind of stuck with me. its still a little...old for me, but i like that she could be nicknamed mae.

mabel makes me think of miss mable... and 80 year old english ladies drinking tea.
