it's refreshing when a young mother gives her kid a decent name.

as for the poll, i know it's originally a boys name, but since i'm a girl and my name is ashley i'll never be able to see it that way. and i wouldn't wish this name on someone anyway regardless of their gender, all my life i've been called assley and ash-hole.

I see Asher as the most masculine. Ashley screams girl to me, as does Ashton (Ashton Kutcher aside). The main character in my novel is a girl named Ashton, so that also might be how I can't visualize it on a boy.

I'm not a huge fan of Conner, but that could be sooooo much worse. It's a decent name.

Ashton always makes me think of Ashton Kutcher, who is an effing tool, and Ashley, unfortunately, has become way too feminine. I prefer it on boys to girls, but I still think a lot of teasing would take place. Asher is a great name and I think it's your best bet out of the three.

Connor Liam is wonderful! And as for the pole, I picked Ashton, mostly because I've got a personal attachment to it, but I'm kind of coming around to Ashley because my new (temporary) boss' name is Ashley and he's awesome. Asher is so-so with me. It's quite popular in this community, I've noticed, but I'm pretty neutral to it. I will agree it's probably the most masculine sounding of them all.

As for your poll, I like Asher best. Ashton is alright too, but Ashley (though I know it was originally a boy's name, if I remember correctly) seems so girly to me. I think Ashley Olsen did it.
