5 years ago, I think Victoria and Holliston topped the list.
1 year ago it was pretty much the same as it is now (Bridget, Isabel, Lily, Victoria is still on the list, though I don't love it, but it's a family name, so...)
My taste in boy's names hasn't changed at all over the course of my life :)
I don't think that I had favourite names ten years ago, but around five years ago I remember that Roxie was my absolute favourite girl name. And there was a Corrine Jolie on my list. I liked Oakley and Cohen too.
10 years ago: Brooke, Marie, Michael and Bryan 5 years ago: Kylieanna Elizabeth Julia Grace (yes all one name) 1 year ago: same as now 6 months ago: still the same.
10 years ago: Jennifer, Mouette, Indrah / Javier 5 years ago: Luna, Madelief, Fleur, Arwen, Caro / Floris, Sem, Julian, Tijn (Dutch name, pn. sort of like 'Tine') 1 year ago: Maeve, April, Astrid, Madelief, Ariel / Adam, Liam, Roman, Otis, Eli 6 months ago: Maeve, April, Astrid, Madelief, Ariel (same) / Adam, Nathaniel, Simon, Roman, Eli, Ira
As you can see, much has changed, but over the past year; not so much =).
Ten years ago, I was really in to Kimberly and Erica, then Brianna and Alyson and Serena. Nicholas was my favorite boy's name.
Five years ago, I was really in to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so Anya, Cordelia, and Lilah topped the list, along with Sarah, Katelyn, and Makayla. In between the ten and five year marks, I remember loving Leighanne, Lauryn, and Lyndsey. I know. In my defense, I was thirteen/fourteen. For boys, I think it was Wesley, Connor, Ryan, Ethan, and Nicholas.
About a year ago and six months ago, my top names were still the same -- Anna, Lola, Isabella, Luke, Ethan, Nathan. Aidan ranked higher than it does now.

Date: 2008-08-16 06:48 am (UTC)I was SO sure back then [a few years ago] that Ashton and Cooper were my boys names that would never catch on....lol. Suppose I jinxed myself there!
When I was 5 I would have killed to be a Jessica. As a Claire I was always jealous of not having a nickname.
