I'm trying to figure out the actual trendiness of my favorite names. I go through stages of caring and not caring whether a name is popular or not! I know all of them (pretty much) are very popular, but I kind of want to know if they are TRENDY or not. And I know about the SSA but sometimes thats not a very good indication, so this may or may not be helpful, whatever.

I went to school with a Thomas...he's 23. It's also my dad's middle name...he'll be 50 in Dec.

One of my husband's best friends in the USMC was named Samuel (Sam) and he's like 30+.

Thomas - 4 in their early to mid 20s and then one who is late 30s. Oh, and I know a 2 year old named this, too.
Samuel - I don't know any Samuels, but I know one guy named Salvatore who goes by Sam and he's 20.

I think that, this community aside, those boy names are not popular baby names right now at all, except probably Samuel and maybe Thomas. And for the girls names, none seem very real-life popular for babies except probably Elizabeth and maybe Catherine.
