Boy or girl? Either way I like it, moreso on a girl.

Girl or boy?

I really like it for either (moreso for a girl though) and I love the spelling.

LOVE IT! But I want to name a son Quinn Edward, so I'm a bit biased. :)

I think Quinn would be a lot better. Quinlyn is too rhymey for me.

Quinn is so much better than Quinlyn. I hate hate hate unnecessary -lyn names. I think that "lyn" syllable is so ugly, especially spelled like that.

I don't like Parker, especially not on a girl, and if Price is a second middle instead of a last name, I don't like it, either. =(

Terrible. Not only is it uber trendy, she'll constantly be mistaken for a boy. Really unfortunate.

Oh. I liked it when I thought it was a boy.

IAWTC. My first thought was that it was a name for a boy, -lyn suffix and all.

I liked it a lot more when I thought that it was a boy. I would never assume that that was a girl's name. I hate Quinn, because of somebody I know, so I hate Quinlyn even more. It doesn't seem like a name to me. And Parker is just a boy's name to me.

So, I don't like it.

No way. I'm not sure any 25+ woman would want to be named Quinlyn (I'm not sure I'd want to be named that, under 25 too...), especially regarding that she may not be taken as seriously in the workforce.

i like how quinlyn sounds, but can't think of a decent-looking spelling for it. it just looks too weird. i like quinn a lot better. parker is nice though.

i don't think quinlyn is the type of name that wouldn't be taken seriously. when i hear about the ridiculous names that will mess up a kid's future, i think of beasts like: aaleeshuh or j-dinn.

Really? To me, Quinlyn is one of the beasts. It's kind of a slippery slope matter: where does one draw the line? It is a beast lesser so, I see eye to eye with you there, but still one (thanks to the already pointed out ugly -lyn ending). And Quinlyn has no meaning but Quinn minus one n and a lyn thrown on the end, or the masculine surname Quinlan, unproperly fymynised. Quinn is less of a disgrace for a girl, one that could be taken more seriously.

For example, if I had to be operated on, and there were two identically achieved surgeons, I would choose Victoria Price, Katharine Price, Marie Price than Quinlyn Price. If I had to trust my finances with an Anne Price, Frances Price, Estelle Price or Quinlyn Price, the former three surely win out. This is because made up names or those similar to Quinlyn are socially correlated with being uneducated (regardless of the fact they did not choose their name) and most would rather have important matters handled with a responsible, mature person and these traits are connected with more traditional names.

i don't know. i guess i just put quinlan (and other spelling variations of it) in the same category as other trendy last names that have become first names: beckett, jackson, madison, etc.

I don't like Quinlyn because it's repetitive. You'd never name a child Quinn Lynn because they rhyme, so why smush it into one name?

Otherwise, Quinn is fine, so that redeems it because she can go by that.

Parker Price makes me think of fisher price toys or something, I'm not sure exactly what.. it sounds like a brand name or something. But it will never go together without Quinlyn before it so that's ok.

Repetitive-rhyme Boysname Price.

I do not like it.
